Student slam at the UKLA 55th International Conference

Literacy and Play for All: Improvisation, possibility and imagination

I was delighted to contribute to the postgraduate research student slam at UKLA 2019, giving an opportunity to communicate ideas at this early stage of my EdD and experiment with the use of imagery.

Learnt so much from peers and the conference workshop programme, with highlights including the interactive session led by Elsie Olan and Enrique Puig around fiction feeding the imagination.

Also of great interest were the questions arising from challenges and successes of a co-produced research team at a school in Rotherham from Re-Imagining the classroom: the literacies of the everyday. I've since been reading this paper from Kate Pahl at Manchester Met University.

DON'T MISS THE FUN.
